THERE ARE ONLY 4 STEPS TO BORROW FROM THE BOOK BANK!

 

FIRST, Check the availability of the book and/or handout you want to borrow. You may check it at the Book Bank corner posted at the CIR Bulletin Board.

 

SECOND, check on who is the SC OOTD (Officer of the Day) on the same list. You may find their names and contact numbers there.

 

THIRD, contact the SC Officer and he/she will accompany you in accessing the Book Bank locker, located strategically near Blessings Photocopier (below CBA wing) so that the CIR students may, not only easily access the Book Bank, but they may also easily photocopy what they need as well.

 

FOURTH, the books/handouts have Book Bank Record Cards which are like Library Cards, only less complicated. Just fill out the necessary information on the card (e.g. Borrower's Name, Date of Borrowing, Borrower's Contact No.), Sign, and you're done!

 

Reminders:*

1. The duration of how long you may borrow the book (in other words, if you can take it home or not) depends on the book supply. Books which can be brought home may only be borrowed for a maximum of TWO DAYS. The Student Council may charge a fine of 20php for delayed return of books, so if in case you want to extend your duration of borrowing the book please inform the SC Officer you borrowed the book from beforehand.

2. Please HANDLE THE BOOKS/HANDOUTS WITH CARE. The Borrower shall be accountable for any damage on (especially) the books, and the Student Council has the right to charge a fine depending on the damage (torn pages, torn book covers, etc.) and depending on the price of the book. The Borrower may also have the option of replacing the damaged book. Same case applies in case a Borrower misplaces or loses a book borrowed from the Book Bank.
