BATTLE OF THE PIRATES: 2ND WAVE

 

CALLING ALL LYCEANS! 
Get ready for the BATTLE OF THE PIRATES: 2ND WAVE, brought to you by the College of International Relations Student Council. 

This year, we've added two more events: the NEWS IDOL and the TEAM DEBATE.

The News Idol will be an impromptu speaking competition where the topics to be covered are current local or international news and current events.

 

Meanwhile, the Debate competition will be held in British Parliamentary style, consisting of four teams (Opening Government, Opening Opposition, Closing Government, Closing Opposition) with two (2) debaters per team. The topic for the debate will be given in the morning on the day of the competition.

 

The other competitions are:
>PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST (single or by pair)
>ESSAY WRITING CONTEST (single) 
>SPELLING BEE (by pair)
>SCIENCE QUIZ BEE (by pair)
>MATHEMATICS QUIZ BEE (by pair)

 

Registration is open to ALL COLLEGES of LPU MANILA. Certificates, medals, and cash prizes are at stake, so just register at the CIR Student Council booth at the IR Square, open daily from 8AM-5AM until the 30th of January, 2016 (SAT).
